I teach acting, film, and communications at Shenandoah Valley Governor’s School in Fishersville, Virginia. I am a native of Dayton, Ohio, and I hold a B.A. in theatre from Miami University in Ohio and a teaching certificate in preK-12 theatre arts from Mary Baldwin College. I am currently enrolled in the MFA Theatre Education Program at the Mississippi University for Women.
Prior to getting my full-time teaching job, I taught after-school drama programs in the Augusta County schools and directed summer camps for ShenanArts community theatre. I also performed educational children's theatre for elementary schools and libraries with Impressions Theatre.
I perform locally with ShenanArts, Waynesboro Players, Clever By Half Productions, Blue Ridge Community College, and Oak Grove Theatre.
