Hi. Our theater company refers to this as intimacy staging. In fact, we employ an intimacy coordinator to stage kissing and other intimate scenes the same way we use a fight choreographer for stage combat. You could call it an intimacy contract. Hi. We've had a lot of success with Jane Austen adaptations. We've done both Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility. I recommend the Joseph Hanreddy adaptations. He writes for larger casts, but there are other good adaptations that use smaller casts. Hope this helps.  Erik ...
