We used some dental tools, wood chisels, other items we found around the shop. The more gruesome, the better.

One thing you might consider for dressing rooms is having a larger space for makeup and such, but smaller individual changing rooms. The week of sitzprobe she is there for those two days (one day Act I, next day Act II) and the day after to clean up things that might need it.
