I too am from a predominantly white school and the other students of color don't want to participate. We just did Little Shop of Horrors last year with white urchins/doo wop girls and had no backlash from anyone. I felt like the girls could be played by both and the language and dialogue was not specific. ...

Hi! I have produced Addams Family at the High School level and was one of the kids' favorite shows. Audiences loved it. I think it would work at middle school level no problem. This may sound crazy, but not any crazier than everything else we do! Have 2 separate smaller cast plays on alternating nights. For instance, we did Arsenic and Old Lace on Thursday and Sat , Harvey was on Friday and Sunday. Fits the 25-35 kids you need to get in a show. ------------------------------ ...

Hi! I would agree with Analiese 100%. We have never been able to use an orchestra and have never needed to use a conductor with the tracks. The cast rehearses with the tracks and so it makes it easy to transition to the show. My kids have worked so hard in rehearsal they can hear their cues and truly ...
