I had a similar situation a couple of years ago with a play that had Snow White. I angled her upstage and had the Prince come in front of her with his back to the audience. He leaned over her and it looked like they were kissing to the audience because of the body positioning. Another option would be ...

We performed Mamma Mia last spring, but didn't use the MTI tracks. We used Right on Cue for our tracks since we had a credit with them from our cancelled 2019 musical, so they would be another option you could look at. I really liked them because it allowed us to add in vamps, change the key of the song ...

We performed Mamma Mia in April and used Right on Cue Services for our performance tracks. I was fairly satisfied with the tracks and we'll be using ROCS for the tracks for our next spring musical too. ------------------------------ Jeremy Grant Madison Southern High School KY --------------------- ...

We were in the same boat last year. We had a handful of boys and only one of them was a really strong singer. We went with Mamma Mia because it did have a lot for the girls. Even our ensemble girls developed backstories for their characters and had a lot of fun coming up with unique interactions and ...

We used a three headset Eartec system for our production of Mamma Mia! a few weeks ago and it fit the bill perfectly. We have a 400 seat auditorium and we didn't have any problems at all with hearing anyone or the mics cutting out. I wore one, my stage manager had one, and our main tech person in the ...

I believe Right on Cue does have the SpongeBob performance tracks available for licensing. We just used their tracks for our production of Mamma Mia and I was very satisfied with them. I believe our license agreement was for $650 ------------------------------ Jeremy Grant Madison Southern High School ...

I just directed this for our local community theatre and decided to hold auditions before deciding on the gender of specific jurors. For my cast, Jurors 2, ,11, and 12 were female. ------------------------------ Jeremy Grant Madison Southern High School KY ------------------------------

I'm relatively new to this end of things and I haven't been able to get an answer so I thought I'd come here. This may be an obvious answer for some, so I apologize if it seems a bit simple. Almost every company I've used so far (MTI, etc.) has a fairly accurate estimator when trying to figure out licensing ...

We did it in 2019 and the Jr. and Full-length versions both had "Happy All the Time" in them at that time. ------------------------------ Jeremy Grant Madison Southern High School KY ------------------------------

I'm trying to build a social media presence to help with awareness and advertising for our production of Mamma Mia! this spring and was wondering what sorts of things others have done to create interesting and engaging social media content.  So far, we've been posting little snippets from our choreography ...

Seussical is on my short list for our spring musical and I'm going to look at the perusals over the Christmas break.  My question, before I get to scripts, what can anyone tell me about differences between the full version and the TYA 75-minute version?  Someone I spoke with a couple of weeks ago said ...
