I am a West Virginia girl, through and through. I graduated from Ripley High in 1995 where I was very active in our theater program and Thespians. After college and grad school, I worked as an English adjunct, newspaper reporter, and executive director of a non-profit before landing back at Ripley High School. I was hired to teach English with the understanding that I would take over the theater program (which had sadly and drastically declined in the 16 years since I graduated) when the current teacher retired. I have now been in charge of the department for 5 years and we are on the rebound. I am married and have a toddler who is the most amazing little creature and already showing signs of being an amazing actress!
