I had more phone calls and emails with this company than any other. It was frustrating to say the least. The sample we were provided didn't match the script as delivered, with substantial changes that messed with set design. Additionally, obtaining the proper music tracks took days of badgering. ...

I've directed the show before and had a female play Helsa/Katerina and a male play Helsa/Dieter for the rest of the show. I'm directing it again, and I am curious how others have cast this before? Did you 1) Cast different people in those roles as I did? 2) Used a male for Helsa from the ...

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. On the cement tubes, how can they be hooked together -- inside with blocks or with a cement/construction adhesive? They will be inserted into a platform hole, and i suppose some type of structure inside to make sure it doesn't tip? Do they take paint without swelling? ...

Thanks for the ideas everyone. I do love Burial at Thebes and the Anouilh version, but they already have added layers that send the show certain directions. I absolutely love the Fitts and Fitzgerald translation, but I cannot figure out if there are performance rights out there for it. Trying ...

Hello. I'm looking at doing Antigone in the fall, but I want a public domain translation (otherwise, Burial at Thebes works well) so that I can mike minor adjustments for my show's vision. Has anyone used one in the past that worked well? I keep finding one that uses very stilted language in order to ...
