Once the contract is complete and paid for, they usually ship the materials fairly quickly. You do not have to return the Showkit, so there's not really a limit to rehearsal time.

One other thing to throw in the hopper- during show week we switch to evening rehearsals so the final practices are just like shows would be. That would eliminate the missed days because of your after school meetings.

Our state guidelines have changed many times and currently do not have capacity limits but do require 6 ft between "family groups", which for us is 2 empty seats. We do not have reserved seating, so we came up with the simple solution to hand out paper "seating spacers" to be placed on the two empty ...

In my experience TRW is super flexible, so they may let you switch versions. That said, we found the school version to be the better choice- "The River Between Us" is incredibly powerful. You can download the production guide for Newsies from the MTI website. It breaks down which roles can be played by girls playing boys and which traditionally male roles can be swapped to be female characters. You definitely still have to have a handful of really good boys.

We used the Funtasma platform boots . They're pricy but did the job well. Our Lurch was 6' to start with. Drywall stilts would be another option.
