I have a Google Classroom and posted the auditions with a deadline as an assignment. Students recorded audition videos on their phone, and submitted them on classroom. I have also done live auditions on Zoom where they had an appointment time when they had to join and I kept them in the waiting room ...

I did Almost Maine 5 years ago. In the last scene I cast two good friends who stripped to the long johns and were super comfortable with the intentions of the scene. In They Fell I had two girls because I did not have enough boys. There were zero complaints. ------------------------------ Nancy Lomas-Reynolds ...

We rehearse right after school every day, and marching band rehearses 3 times a week, so the marching band comes on the days they are free until the season is over. ...

We canceled hours before we were set to open and held a meeting in the principal's conference room and everyone had an opportunity to express their availability to reschedule. Unfortunately, ...

I used plexiglass last year to make stained glass windows. I tested hot glue on a small panel and I found that it didn't stick and was hard to control the way I wanted to. I ended up using black painters tape from the art store to create the borders. I also used a gel gloss medium and paint meant for ...

It gets pushed on so the very end of it is covered by drapery. We also turned the cannon towards the upstage corner of the stage. I have to continue ...
