Hello, We are slated to do Legally Blonde this Spring. I am worried about some of the cultural references in the show. I feel like much of it is done as a parody, but it can still feel weird. Our school is really diverse, and our Elle is not going to be the "White Blonde" nor might our Paulette even ...

We did a simple set and glitzed it up and I had all my girls in Black dance leos and skirts. We did do some tap for couple od songs, which ...

We did Mamma Mia and it was great. I would say Donna, Sam and Sophie have to be really strong vocalists. I think Donna had to hit C5 in Winner Takes it all, but does not have to hold it for too long. I am worried that I might not have someone than can comfortable Belt in So Much Better. It has to be ...

Hello Fellow Educators, I am 90% sure we will do Legally blonde next year. We have around 5 really strong guys who can really sing. 5 more guys who can really act and fake it ( or are willing to get vocal lessons). We then have 6 girls who are really strong singers and about 6 who can sing but not like ...

HI I love that Very Still! It looks like it will really push the actors! We are at a pretty liberal school in Denver. I don't worry about the language as much as references is Bleach and other household cleaners. How did your community respond there? ------------------------------ Megen Gilman ...

Longtime follower, first time Poster... This will be my fourth year as the Theatre Director at a urban school in Denver. Before taking on the position, the Drama Program was virtually eradicated due to low enrollment and low test scores. In three years, I went from one Drama class to last year having ...
