Hi, Josh. I don't know if I can be of any help or not. We have a great stage monitor system that I would HIGHLY recommend. The camera is mounted to the front of our balcony rail and feeds directly to the stage manager's console backstage. From there the signal is sent to monitors in all the dressing ...

I have taught for 47 years and have only had one truck during that time. To be honest, there is always a parent who will help out if you need a truck. Usually, stuff like lumber, I just have it delivered. Depending on where you live, and because it's for a school, sometimes they will deliver for free. ...

In my 42 years in the classroom and working with a multitude of stage managers and student directors, I found much of how these kids were seen by their peers depended on how I established the position with the cast and crew from the very beginning. Some examples: ...

I require my students (even my beginning classes) to do a play review every two week on a play they have read. I give them the first 10 minutes ...

We did the show two years ago and had a great experience. I also teach in a very conservative community. We advertised the play as being the musical adaptation of the Princess and the Pea and Carol Burnett's first Broadway production. Did not have a single problem with "negative feedback". We have ...

Just now saw your question... Sorry. I buy "Z" racks. They are what are used in clothing stores. They are sturdy and hold a lot of costumes. They also stack within each other for storage when not in use. They are very reasonably priced for what they are and can be easily purchased through Amazon.com. ...
