    My students overwhelmingly requested to perform a comedy next year. What are your favorite comedies to perform especially with small all-male casts?

    Do they sing? Because "Forever Plaid" is one of the best musical comedies ever for a group of HS guys!!

    Play On! by Rick Abbott is like Noises Off without the revolving stage!  Very funny and you can add characters, change things, update!

    If you want a small, all male cast, this comedy adaptation of The Hound of The Baskervilles (3m) is one of the funniest plays I've read in ages. I'm dying to produce it, but I don't think a play with only three male actors and no women would go over at my school.

    Other great two man comedies include Greater Tuna and The Mystery of Irma Vep.

    If your guys sing, I produced Altar Boyz a few years ago and it's fantastic. I definite work-out though for five boys who can sing, dance and do comedy!

    How many guys? We did Clockwork with our girls and  about six guys, and the kids enjoyed the Southern comedy murder mystery.
