I am a high school theater director at a small high school in South Dakota. I have been directing plays here for eight years and am still learning as I go! I have a BA in Theater from Penn State University, and about 20 years of performance experience as a singer. Our theater department does a one act for competition in the fall, a full-length spring play, and an elementary school week-long theater camp every year. We have done two musicals since I have been here because our budget does not normally allow for a musical. I am trying to build the theater department here as we are a very sports-centered school district.
