Hi All –
Congratulations on surviving the end of the 2019-2020 School Year. Hopefully, you've taken some time
to relax and recharge before heading into planning for what comes next.
There are many unknowns regarding the 2020-2021 School Year and what classes and productions will
look like. We at Projects with Jason (PwJ) understand that the complexities of online teaching and
performances can seem daunting.
You are not alone. The PwJ Team would like to help.
In addition to developing several special online events and resources, we have established three web
series currently in rotation, which you can explore at
www.projectswithjason.com or on our YouTube
channel: Virtual Cabaret, our signature show, allows high schools to feature their music and theatre
programs, gives students a stage to perform online, and features guest performances by professionals;
Tech Table takes the focus backstage with conversations and collaborations with some of the industry's
finest Designers, Craftspersons, and Technicians; and Artists in Conversation, tailored to create one-akind interactions between exceptional professional artists, students, and educators.
Involving the direct participation of students, educators, and professional artists on and offstage is what
PwJ collaborations are all about.
We would like to invite you to be a part of this collaboration, by joining our effort to sustain the
important work of creative professionals and develop new and meaningful experiences for you and your
students during the coming school year.
While we are committed to creating programs and resources which will be made available to schools
and educators free of charge, we are in the process of creating levels of involvement and participation
(likely via the Patreon platform) which would enable us to bring additional value to you and your
students:
• Supplemental materials and lesson plans to accompany our video content.
• Participation in our live streams, with a range of industry professionals.
• Special "members only" opportunities, events and presentations.
• The chance to leverage our team's experience with online production, to help create your own
virtual performance or showcase.
Please contact
info@projectswithjason.com to let us know how we can help you, and to learn more
about how you can partner with us as we face the new challenges that lie ahead.
Our Education Production Team consists of Krista Carson Elhai, Cambria Graff, Jeff Hall, and Gai Jones
and they can also answer questions about the opportunities and resources PwJ can provide for you, your
students, and your program.
Best, and continue to change lives even in these challenging times.
