Looking for a play for 6 girls

I have six girls who are keen to do a show.  Any suggestions? Comedy or tragedy.
    Suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

If you are looking for a one act:  Ladies of the Tower by Tim Kelly (There might be more than 6 roles - it's been a while!)

If you're looking for a one act, look at Purple Ink from Pioneer Drama Service. It's a brand new family drama, excellently written for six women. Running time is 35 minutes.

Waiting for the Parade, by John Murrel (I think that's the spelling). Women on the home front in Canada during WW2.

Except that rights for Six are not available.

Hi, Nancy, I don't know the demographics of your student body or how edgy you'd want to go, but a historical and expansive option is:  Ntozake Shange's "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow is Enuf."  In a recent Teachers College English Language Arts class, I was surprised that none of the 20-something year old students in the discussion group had heard of this choreopoem.  I plan to add it to my H.S. unit on dramatic literature.   Best, Sylvia

I am a huge fan of Kindertransport by Diane Samuels. 5 great female roles. There is a 6th character the Ratcatcher/Train Agent/ etc... that perhaps could be adjusted to give you your 6 roles...

    Thanks!
