I am an activist in the classroom who incites freedom and excitement, and believe that setting time aside for silent reflection provides a forum for students to offer a vocal or aesthetic message. I am an advocate for integrity, simplicity, and the aha! moment - the internal shift of insight from passive to active learner and researcher. Learning and research can be creative, exploratory, reality confirming and unforgettable, especially when accompanied by action, interaction, and reflection.
