I have degree in directing from the University of Rhode Island, where I studied under performers and directors from the National Theatre of the Deaf as well as renowned mime, Michael Grando. I have been active in educational theatre for over twenty years. in June of 2020 I retired from being the entire Theatre Department at Cumberland High School, where I had been teaching Theatre Arts for thirteen years. I also founded and was Artistic Director of the Next Generation Theatre of Rhode Island, a community based educational theatre. Currently I have been active in creating a new educational community theatre called the Generations Theatre Project in northern Rhode Island. I have been Rhode Island Chapter Director since 2014 and will step down from that post in August 2021. I will continue to sit on the Rhode Island board as treasurer.
