Ben Martin taught and directed educational theatre in Missouri for 34 years before retiring in the spring of 2010 He is a member of the EdTA Hall of Fame and former member of the Board of the Educational Theatre Association and Missouri Thespians. Martin continues to be an active advocate for school theatre and arts education programs by serving as Executive Director for the Missouri Alliance for Arts Education. He also works with his local community to integrate arts activities as an economic development tool. His street theatre production, Cellular ‘Cenes, was recently awarded Top Special Project in Missouri by the Missouri Main Streets Connection.
