We're at the time of year where field trips, track meets, testing, and skip days make it so I may never have my whole class in attendance two days in a row. When they ARE there, it's the last period of the day and they've about had it. We're on a block schedule so I have them just twice a week, every other day. The "end of the year checkout" happened at the beginning of fourth quarter this year, and I'm out of ideas for what to engage them with.

Just a vent. But. If anyone has any simple, any-level-of-expertise lessons, activities, scene prompts... I guess I'm feeling the burnout myself too. I need to stop reading the news.

    Hey Josh!
The end of year checkout is alive and well.
If you are looking for activities to engage your students, I encourage you to checkout daily8count.com. Each week I release a short musical theatre dance combination broken down over 5 brief videos for ALL skill levels. Using the building blocks of musical theatre dance, my goal is to boost their "CONFIDENCE THROUGH CHOREOGRAPHY".

I'm about to launch a "Dance Out Your School Year" special: the final 5 weekly combinations for the price of 4 ($90).

Let me know if you have any questions.
