Over decades of working in theatre, my wife and I have acquired a small theatre library (three bookcases; 16 shelves with more than 550 books). The time has come to drastically reduce the number of books.

If you are interested in the books, contact me at jvanleishout@gmail.com. I can send you the list as a  Microsoft Excel document.

The books are organized into the following categories.

    ·         Shakespeare - 55 titles (I ran a Shakespeare Festival for more than a decade.

    ·         History/Criticism – 74 titles

    ·         Scripts/Anthologies – 257 titles

    ·         Acting, Directing, Production – 71 titles

    ·         Tech/ Design – 20 titles

    ·         Theatre Education – 40 titles (my wife was a theatre teacher for more than 30 years)

    ·         Writing – 8 titles

    ·         Film – 23 titles

    ·         Careers theatre and film - 7

    ·         Visual Arts & Music – 10 (these books are great resource materials)

The larger categories are broken into sub-categories.

If, unfortunately, you are a theatre bibliophile, like me, let me know and I will send you the list.

    Thanks

    James
