I am a college student getting ready to direct a one act play next semester and I want to utilize the next few weeks to read as many as possible to decide what I want to choose for this project. Any recommendations? I'd prefer something dramatic, but I am going to prioritize well-written over anything else. I'm directing my first full-length show this semester and it's going really well, so it doesn't necessarily have to be overly simple or designed for a beginning director. I'm just looking for something that will be enjoyable to spend a semester working on. Thanks!

Do you have an idea of the cast size you would like? Do you have access to sets and costumes (or a budget for them) or does this need to be a fairly stripped down production? There's so many good shows to choose from an this info would help narrow things down.
