I am a college student getting ready to direct a one act play next semester and I want to utilize the next few weeks to read as many as possible to decide what I want to choose for this project. Any recommendations? I'd prefer something dramatic, but I am going to prioritize well-written over anything else. I'm directing my first full-length show this semester and it's going really well, so it doesn't necessarily have to be overly simple or designed for a beginning director.
