  • 1.  ISO One page, Two actor scenes for Middle School

    Hello Educators, 
    I have an old book of one-page, two-person scenes for middle schoolers.  The length is perfect, but the scenes are a bit... dated.  Any suggestions for a replacement?

    I used, Acting Scenes for Kids and Tweens by Mike Kimmel and it worked great!

    I recommend DTA Theatrefolk. They have several versions of short contemporary scenes for various ages.

    It might be worth checking out Lockers, by Jeremy Kruse, available from Dramatic Publishing.  It has a bunch of middle school appropriate scenes that are quite short, and fairly modern.  Some good sibling and friend scenes that are great for classwork.  Most are two person scenes, but there is also at least one good three person one (about soccer!).
