As we approach this summer's Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill, how can the Advocacy Leadership Network and EdTA empower teachers and students to unite in Washington DC to advocate for the essentialness of theatre in our schools? What barriers do teachers face that prevent them from attending? With the challenges that seem to be sweeping the nation for theatre, we want to ensure that all teachers have the resources and training needed to prepare them to advocate for the needs of the students, schools, districts, and states. What can we do to make this happen?
