Costumes for Beauty & the Beast

We did Beauty and the Beast a few years ago. Dress rehearsal went well. We made it through the end of the 2nd act, everyone was still alive, and we were excited. The show was dynamite, emotional, hilarious. The kids were having fun, the dances looked great, and the orchestra was finally getting all the key changes. We were anxious about only a few spots. We had a SHOW!
You have all lived through this story. On the afternoon of opening night, March 12, 2020, the world stopped. The last period of the school day, we gathered our company together, and the principal informed us that our show was canceled because the school was being shut down for at least two weeks due to something called COVID. No public gatherings allowed.
Maybe we could do the show later, after the shutdown, we discussed. When the world picked up again, we made plans for a summer run following some rehearsals and attempted to hold it outdoors before we lost our leads to college programs. It never happened. The restrictions were enormous.
We had several costumes made locally by excellent, professional artisans from Nelson's. They are pictured below, and are available. I am asking that you make arrangements to transport them from my school, and simply give a donation to our drama program/Thespian Society Troupe 10049 at Steubenville Catholic Central High School.
Thank you for reading. I am so grateful we all made it through that most difficult situation and bid you success in your drama programs!
