    I'm looking to build up my 10 minute play collections for scenework.

    Any suggestions on your favorites?

    I always need 10-minute plays! Consider some pieces from A Simpler Time and Scared Silly (both Playscripts) and Lit on Fire and And Hilarity Ensued (both YouthPlays).

    I can recommend Shel's Shorts and an adult evening of entertainment with Shel Silverstien if you don't mind selective editing. 

    The best daddy is fully appropriate and HILARIOUS.

    I know a couple that are pretty popular. Ten After Ten and A Moment of Madness by Jack Berry Also, some short monologues - Monsters by Chris Bullard.

    Check out  the Ten commandments   Ten plays in ten minutes. They are very interesting plays. Rumpus press has it

    Hi Bryan - not sure if you are looking for collections by one author that you can do all together, or just a place to  find as many as you can for in-class work. If in class work, I have found a ton from the many, many collections from the Humana Festival. they are not written for HS, so you'll read a bunch that won't work, but there's some gems in there.

    Concord/Samuel French has the OFF OFF BROADWAY FESTIVAL PLAYS series. Again not written for high school, so there are many in there that wouldn't work for my school BUT I do find a gem every now and then that is chef's kiss perfect for scene work! 

    Playscripts has more high school friendly GREAT SHORT PLAYS or a couple of COLLECTIONS of plays on a theme (bullying, The Alibis) that have some fun ones that we have used for scene work also. They also carry THE HUMANA FESTIVAL: THE COMPLETE PLAYS by years. I haven't checked those out but may order a couple based on the recommendation!
