Hey Leslie,
This is Cory Wilkerson here, EdTA Education Director. I am so glad you are enjoying using the Behind the Scenes tech theatre curriculum! The curriculum was created by EdTA as a part of a grant project funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, with the amazing Cheryl Williams as our Project Manager.
The detailed curriculum is focused on an introduction to tech theatre and design and includes links and resources that will help you in the classroom. EdTA is offering it free of charge to any teacher who wishes to download and use it through the member Learning Center at
https://learn.schooltheatre.org/behind-the-scenes-technical-theatre-curriculumFor those reading this who are EdTA members, there are other tech theatre curricular resources available on the Learning Center as well, including a tech theatre toolkit to explore (complete with overview webinar) and the brand new BACKstage technical theatre comprehensive exam for high school students- a partnership between EdTA and USITT.
Find the tech theatre toolkit here:
https://learn.schooltheatre.org/products/tech-theatre-toolkitLearn more about BACKstage here:

And to everyone- please let us me know if you have any questions about our new Behind the Scenes curriculum that I could answer for you.
Best to all,
Cory

Subject: Behind the Scenes Tech Design Curriculum Forum
Good morning educators! Like many of you, I am using Cheryl J. Williams's BtS Tech Design Curriculum. Would anyone else like to make a forum for those of us who are using it? We can share ideas and resources, etc. I would make it on FaceBook , only because I already (sorta) know how to do that. It could be a "community" here if someone knows how to do that. Anyone interested?
