    As an educator, I know how exciting and, at times, intimidating it can be to start your journey in the classroom. That's why I'm thrilled to announce the introduction of our all-new Early Career Educator Track at the TEC 2024, designed to connect you with expert-led workshops and resources you need to find success from day one. 
    What to Expect: 
    • Training Workshops: Our sequence of workshops covers all the essentials of being a theatre educator-from balancing work-life demands to mastering curriculum mapping and incorporating culturally responsive teaching methods. 
    • Mentorship: Beyond the workshops, each new teacher will be paired with a mentor for ongoing coaching and support throughout the year.
    • Community: Attending TEC is an opportunity to connect with theatre educators, industry partners, and vendors from around the country! Form lasting friendships and discover valuable resources to support your program.

    Great question Gai!  We will be reaching out in the coming weeks looking for mentors with a goal of including folks not attending the conference.  Look to hear more about this idea and especially how we can reach out to our valued Emeritus members and tap their wisdom.
