Michelle is the owner of MJE Acting Studio where she offers her services as a private acting, audition, and college audition coach to students both in the US and abroad through online lessons. Michelle has been working professionally since 2004, both on and off the stage, as an actress, director and teaching artist. She has won several awards for her directorial work both on regional and national levels. As a private acting coach, Michelle’s students have had success finding entrance into top universities as well as professionally on Broadway, National Tours, Regional Theatre and TV/Film. Michelle is a frequent guest artist and IE Judge for Thespian festivals around the US, local high schools and theatre companies. In addition, Michelle has served as an adjudicator and committee member for the Shuler Awards in Atlanta (2012-2018), Kansas City’s Blue Star Awards (2019-present), as well as One Act, Speech & Debate, and Literary competitions around the nation. Michelle is also Co-Owner of College Audition Project (CAP), which houses a website that has online tools, scheduling system and a college database that helps navigate seniors and GAP students through the college audition process.
