Originally from Chicago, I have lived in Iowa since 1972, and finished my undergrad work in 1976. I was the Drama Director, Language Arts instructor and Head Speech Coach at Ankeny, Iowa High school from 1989-2014, when I retired from active teaching. I am still coaching speech, and in 2015 I was inducted into the Iowa High School Speech Association Hall of Fame.
