Lynda Gibson: Assistant Director:Flushing High School Theatre Department and Director/Flushing Middle School Drama Program —Lynda took over the position of assistant director for the fall and winter play and spring musical in the 2008-2009 school year. She is very happy to be working with the Flushing High School Theatre Department and has been the director for the Flushing Middle School After School Drama Program since she began working for Flushing Community Schools in the fall of 1996 as the library media specialist for the middle school. Miss Gibson has a strong background in the performing arts. She was involved in drama and choir productions at Frankenmuth High School and Central Michigan University and graduated from CMU with a Speech & Communications Degree with a theatre concentration in 1993. She also spent two summers as part of CMU’s Summer Repertory Theatre Program and was a technical apprentice for The Purple Rose Theatre Company in Chelsea, Michigan from May 1993 to June 1994.
