Bio

Myndee Fleury Washington is an actor, director and costume designer, as well as the director of theatre at Millennium Academy. Favorite roles include: Tessie Tetterby (What in the Dickens Happened to Scrooge), Rachel Lynde (Anne of Avonlea), Golde (Fiddler on the Roof) and Sophie (Star Spangled Girl). Directorial credits include: Take It Easy, Rogers’ and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, 6 Dance Lessons in 6 Weeks, Forbidden Broadway’s Greatest Hits and I Never Saw Another Butterfly. In 2014, BroadwayWorld.com named her the “Best Costume Designer in Tampa Bay” for her work with the Patel Conservatory production of “The Tempest”. Mrs. Washington holds a BA in Music Education with a concentration in voice and theatre from the University of Tampa.
