Bio

Kimberly Corbett Oates is a theatre consultant with Schuler Shook, providing project management, planning, and design for performing arts venues and houses of worship around the country. She has worked on various productions as production manager, technical director, stage manager, designer, and periodically freelances as a scenic designer and stage technician. She is a member of the American Society of Theatre Consultants (ASTC) and recent past-Commissioner of the USITT Engineering Commission.
Kim's interests include mechanical and technical design, risk assessment, codes and standards, user/audience experience, and family-career balance.
