Born and raised in Cincinnati, I now divide my time between that great city and my new home base in Juneau, Alaska. (Long story -- but a happy one.) I'm a writer, an editor, a mom, and a longtime volunteer guide and board member of Ski for Light, Inc., an organization that teaches blind people how to cross-country ski.
