Life long learner, who enjoyed teaching in the classroom as well as in the theatre. With many years actively involved in community and school theatre as well as performing for years as "Val's Pals" throughout Ohio schools and libraries.
Retired from teaching English, and as the Drama Director of the MLS Theatre Company, Troupe 1422 of Marion L Steele High School, Amherst, Ohio (after 19 years). Currently the Drama Director of Amherst Junior High School. Received the Cleveland Playhouse Square "Dazzle Award" in 2016 in Supporting Actor category for our production of "Little Shop of Horrors," and in 2017 for Best Costumes.
