Elaine Davida Sklar has extensive experience as a playwright, lyricist, producer, director, and educator. She has directed, produced and choreographed over 25 productions and was formerly the Artistic Director of the Greenwich Repertory Theater, and directed for Connecticut Playmakers. Ms. Sklar served as Drama Chairman for the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York, and co-founded The Children’s Theater Workshop in Greenwich, Connecticut. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Communications from the University of Michigan, and a Master’s in Education from Manhattanville College. Elaine wrote the book and lyrics for the new musical, BULLY NO MORE! successfully produced at The Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe, Vermont and published by Tams Witmark and Concord Theatricals. Endorsed by the VT governor, Senators Bernie Sanders and Patrick Leahy, the Executive Director of Prevent Child Abuse, the Executive Director of Partnership With Children, and the Founder and Board Chairman of the New York Chapter of the National Foundation For Missing And Exploited Children. Elaine wrote the script for the new musical DELILAH SKY, authored a bilingual children's book, and co-created of a 12-book party series. Elaine is writing her first novel, edited by Mary Kole.
