Anne-Marie Roberts has taught theatre arts for the Ann Arbor Public schools for 20 years where she developed and wrote the theatre arts curriculum for Ann Arbor Public School's secondary theatre arts program at Ann Arbor Skyline High School. She has a B.S. in Theatre Arts from Eastern Michigan University, master classes in acting from the American Theatre Conservatory and a M.A. in Theatre Education from Northern Colorado University. In 2007 Ms. Roberts partnered with 826Michigan and the Michigan Humanities Council developing student written and performed plays based on Hemingway's Nick Adams Short Stories. She is a board member Michigan Educational Theatre Association,has served on the Governing Board since 2013 and is the current chapter director. In 2013 Ms. Roberts was appointed to be a member of the MAEIA blueprint writing team responsible for researching, writing and developing criteria to establish the Gold Standard in educational theatre for the State of Michigan. In addition Ms. Roberts is member of the Educational Theatre Association's national adjudication team.
