Bio

Greg McGlynn received a B.A. in Theatre/Communications from Sterling College in 87 and a Masters in Education from Friends University in 2005. He has worked professionally as an actor and trained with several fencing clubs. He has volunteered instruction in Sabre Fencing, Juggling and Acting on Native American Reservations and has taught High School Theatre in Texas and Kansas for 24 years. He was the technical director of the 2001 Texas State Championship One Act Play SIDE MAN. In Kansas Greg has been honored with several Jester Awards from Music Theatre of Wichita over the past fifteen years. Greg has also been privileged to have had three shows selected to the Kansas State Thespian Festival 2011 A CHRISTMAS CAROL 'in living black and white', 2014 British farce NOISES OFF and 2016 THE FOREIGNER, along with founding The Kansas Thespian Larry Shue Playwright Award. Greg is the proud father of two and currently the Theatre director /instructor for Thespian Troupe #3796 at McPherson High School.
