Leon has several published plays, full lengths with Samuel French, one acts with Playscripts, Brooklyn, Heuer, and Off the Wall Publishers. About three years ago, Samuel French featured Leon on their Breaking Character magazine site with two featured articles about MURDER WITH GRACE and its premiere at Southern Union Comm College. The dark comedy set all box office records for that school. Since then, the play has 6 productions including the most recent in November 2019 at Lisle High School. Update. Leon's play Where There's No Will had a one week Off Broadway run along with a very well produced Youtube video. COFFEE HOUSE, a one act is set for production in February 2020 at Terre Haute High School. LEARNING TO FLY, a ten minute short, is also slated for 2020 production.
A new musical, Stealing Shakespeare which is a comedic 12-25 member cast with easy to play songs and simple single set was performed by Padua Catholic in February 2021. The musical is written for high school production. Update. The musical will have two productions in 2023 and has won a grant.
