JIM HOARE has been involved in theatre for over forty years, working with high school, college and community theatre. Jim directed world high school premieres (Once On This Island and Les Miserables, School Edition), and has taken numerous productions to the Thespian Festival Mainstage. He is a proud member of the New York State Theatre Education Association (NYSTEA), the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA), The American Association of Community Theatres (AACT), and he has presented workshops throughout the USA and UK. In 2011, Jim received NYSTEA’s Rod Marriott Award for Lifetime Achievement in Educational Theatre. Jim is a Board Member for the Educational Theatre Foundation, and the author of YOUR HIGH SCHOOL IMPROV SHOW PLAYBOOK, (Theatrefolk, 2019).
