Minette began her involvement with ITS as a student, participating both in regional festivals in her hometown of Miami, and in the Florida State Thespian festivals, all throughout high school. She continued to be involved by serving as an adjudicator for regional festivals while continuing her studies at the university level. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Florida International University.
She has been an active member of the Florida Alliance for Arts Education (FAAE), the Dade Association for Theater Education (DATE), and the Florida Association for Theatre Education (FATE), since beginning her career in the classroom.
For the last 17 years, her work as an arts educator has included teaching Public Speaking, Studio Art, 3D Art, Humanities, and four levels of Theatre. She serves as the Thespian Troupe Director for Troupe 6273, and has served as the Fine Arts Department Chairperson at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy Catholic School since 2018.
