My love affair with theatre began when I was a sophomore in high school. Ever since then, theatre has always been very close to my heart. This is only my third year of teaching, and I have already landed my dream job of teaching theatre. I am hoping to take everything that I learned from my years in performing, and teach my students skills and lessons that they can apply to all aspects of life. Theatre covers so many areas, and in my opinion, is one of the most underrated areas of the fine arts. It has so many benefits and so much to offer students. Especially those that may not have a particular proclivity for academic subjects. My goal as a theatre teacher is to reach my students, and allow them to be creative and expressive in ways that they may never even imagine they could be.
