Mr. Phil Ridley feels like one of those lucky guys that goes to work with a smile on his face. Not only does he like his profession, but he also loves the opportunity to work overseas and the chance to teach theatre arts at the American School of Dubai. Prior to living and working in the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Ridley worked in England, France, Venezuela, and a little unknown country called Canada. His wife Ahne also teaches at ASD in the Middle School and can be seen in the hallways, directing kids in front of the stage, and coaching softball on the fields.
Having a background in theatre is one thing, but Mr. Ridley believes having a passion in the performing arts is an even better outlook. He hopes to inspire his students to the joys of learning as well as the desire to be successful.
