Bio

Sarah’s play 110 STORIES is published by Playscripts and has been produced in over 60 academic and community theaters worldwide after being developed/read at Geffen Playhouse, Public Theater, and Vineyard Theatre with actors including Billy Crudup, Edie Falco, James Gandolfini, Samuel L. Jackson, Cynthia Nixon, Jay O. Sanders, Tony Shalhoub, and Kathleen Turner.) Sarah’s other full-length plays include ABIGAIL (O’Neill finalist, Ashland New Plays finalist, Athena Projects semi-finalist, Inkwell Theater, and San Antonio’s Public Theatre readings,) MARVEL-OUS MONICA; IN WHICH MONICA LEWINSKY IS A SUPERHERO HELL-BENT ON REVENGE (O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, Valdez Last Frontier Conference, Bay Area Playwrights Festival semi-finalist, NAPSeries semi-finalist, Antaeus and IAMA Theatre Company readings.) Her 24 Hour Plays audio play was performed at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Awards/credits include the Ground Floor Summer Residency at Berkeley Rep second rounder, Humanitas PlayLA Workshop finalist, Max K. Lerner Fellowship, and a NYFA Fellowship. Sarah is a member of the Dramatists Guild, Playwrights’ Center, Antaeus Playwrights Lab and is an Executive Committee member of Honor Roll!
