Bio

David Robert Weber is a member of the National Alliance of Acting Teachers and has an MFA in Acting from California State University Long Beach where he worked as an actor with California Repertory and studied acting pedagogy under the direction of Alexandra Billings, Hugh O’Gorman, Ezra LeBank, Dr. Shanti Pillai, and Andrea Caban.  He has served as an education artist with the Atlanta Shakespeare Company and Lookingglass Theatre Company, Stoop Feast Theatre, Emerald City, Alphonsus Academy, and the Citadel in Lake Forest. He has taught theatre for elementary and secondary students and been on faculty as Assistant Professor of Acting at Illinois State University and taught workshops on “playing action” at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Rockford University, Aurora University, and currently he is an Adjunct Professor of Theatre at Young Harris College. He has been recognized as one of the Top Ten Actors in Atlanta, *Bert Osborn’s Picks 2007 Sunday Paper for his work in Terrence McNally’s A Perfect Ganesh
