Hi everyone! Hope everyone in the midst of a show, like me, is doing great! Quick question - has anyone every responded to having Peter Sklar come visit your school. If so, how was the experience? Was it worth it? Is it a scam? Does EdTA back this person? Obviously, if it was a great experience for ...

I'm looking forward to my first conference with EdTA as a new theatre teacher. I am excited to gather pertinent, inspiring resources to bring back to my students. I'm also looking forward to meeting other instructors and professionals in the field, being in NYC, and seeing Hadestown, along with other ...

Is there anyone who'd like to share an outline of what they cover in this class? I'm preparing to teach it for the first time next year. As the class for my advanced acting students, much of the time will be rehearsing and preparing for our three productions. However, I want to make sure I cover all ...

Acting Shakespeare changed my life in high school. I actually have the set on my Amazon wish list so I can purchase (and support) when I have the funds to do so. My students WILL watch it as well. All the original greats were part of that group and every student needs to watch it. Agreed. ------- ...

It is theatre. :) If the boys are somehow embarrassed to wear dance shoes they will need to get past it. And their feet will thank you for requiring it. I am currently doing The Tempest and ...
