I need inspiration for my set design for "Clue: On Stage" (non-musical). Small program and I'm a one-man crew. Proscenium is only 28' wide. Please share. Thanks! ------------------------------ Michael Eggers Theatre Arts Teacher Mountain City TN ------------------------------

I directed "Addams Family" last fall from TRW and was very pleased. The best part was not having to return the scripts, which meant that each student could actually use the script as it should be used - highlighting, notes, etc. TRW will be the first company I look to for any upcoming musicals.Micha ...

Miss Holmes turned out to be a great production. It is very complex and lent itself to several creative interpretations. Easily the most difficult show I've directed. If you're looking for a challenge with a chance to have really cool costumes, give it a try. ------------------------------ Michael ...

I pulled the trigger and we're set to perform the show. My students really like the story. It's proving to be one of the most technically challenging shows that I've directed. (However, I'm always up for a challenge!) The scene changes are insane; my stage will have 7 different 'locales' throughout the ...

Has anyone produced the show Miss Holmes by Christopher M Walsh? It's inspired by the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle but has Sherlock and Watson portrayed by females. Considering it for my Spring show.

I directed this version of LWW a couple of years ago. If memory serves, we used most of the sound effects. There were a couple that my sound tech didn't like, so he found replacements. This has been one of my favorite shows thus far! Michael Eggers

Has anyone produced Christopher Sergel's "Up the Down Staircase?" The script calls for a cast of 30 but I will have to double parts. What are your thoughts? I'm relatively new to high school theatre and crave your input! Thanks in advance,Michael EggersJohnson County High SchoolMountain City, TN

What do you have the costumes (Itt wig/derby, Lurch boots, etc) priced? Also, a price list for the props would be great. Please feel free to email me at meggers@jocoed.net. Thanks! M ------------------------------ Michael Eggers Theatre Arts Teacher Mountain City TN

I'm using several masks from wintercroft.com for my upcoming production of The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. You have to buy & download the template and construct them by hand but it's totally worth it. Definitely visit the website. ------------------------------ Michael Eggers Theatre Arts Teacher ...

Heather, I directed the one act version of The Giver (along with the one act Gathering Blue) In November. It's one of my favorites! The red apple scene worked out well - Asher had a red apple in his jacket pocket when he enters. Jonas picks up the gray apple from the bowl and tosses it to Asher. ...
