I have been looking at P&P by Kate Hamill and the one by Jon Jory. What made you choose Hamill's work over Jory? I haven't read Hamill's yet, it is on it's way. I'm also considering S&S. I have girls who are dying to do Austen. ------------------------------ Jody Hanna Newport OR ------------- ...

I know you posed this question last year, but I am now wondering the same thing. Anyone out there done The Little Mermaid? I have done other shows that require 3 keyboards, but at least one is less intensive. How difficult is keyboard 4? Did you produce the show, Mark? Our music is arriving soon and ...

They also usually deduct the shipping costs from your deposit (to send the materials to you), unless you specifiy a different way to pay for that in advance. We have sometimes waited almost 6 months to see whatever deposit we get back. ------------------------------ Jody Hanna Newport OR ----- ...

I have never used projections, but I am very interested in this technology. Where do you put your projectors? How far away do they need to be to fill the width of the stage? We have both a scrim and a cyc at our local performing arts center where we perform. The stage is 40 feet wide and 30 feet deep. ...

I really appreciate the specifics and vendor info! It is super helpful when you haven't purchased before. This has become a matter of sanity. It about puts me over the edge during every show! I like to change scenes as the action is happening and loud casters restrict my ability to do so. Thanks for ...

Thank you so much for your advice! The casters we have rattle (and squeak) a lot and I'm sure they came from the local hardware store. I've just used them because it is what I inherited. This year I decided that this was a problem worth fixing. Someone told me that all wheels rattle and that I couldn't ...

Anyone have success with buying casters that are QUIET? I heard that neoprene rubber is quiet, but I haven't used them. I was looking at hospital grade casters as well. I thought I'd get some input before purchasing, since I'll be buying quite a few. Do you have a recommended place to purchase them? ...

I award 1/2 point for attending a show. It doesn't matter where, including a recording of a live performance (I have a couple of kids who have used digitaltheatre.com to view live theatre and our local performing arts center shows NT LIVE and MET OPERA shows, which are all recordings. I do not allow ...

It can take 3 weeks for the certificates to arrive, but they are inducted thespians as soon as you make payment to ITS. You can have your ceremony whenever you want. When I started at my school last year, I re-chartered a long inactive troupe. When your materials arrive from ITS they include a school ...

We bought a clear acrylic vase from the dollar store, cut it with a band saw into a bunch of large pieces and then taped the pieces together with clear tape. It broke perfectly and went back together easily every time. We outlined the design with with a black sharpie so it had definition from far away. ...
