I am readying to direct The 39 Steps this fall. You might want to look into "The Worst High School Play in the World" by William Gleason available through Dramatic Publishing. We performed it last year and did flexible casting on both numbers and genders. Students and audiences really loved it. The production side is rather simplistic as well. ...
