For the switchblades, we used those cheap combs that look like knives. We shaved the tips down to a point and filled in the tines. Then we painted the fake blade silver. I directed it a couple years ago with a cast of 19 and it worked out pretty well. The thing I found helpful was breaking up the hero’s role which helped distribute the lines and make them easier to memorize. We used costume suggestions like a lot of coats, hats and wigs to portray each character. Hannay ...

I'm curious if anyone would like to weigh in on a debate between offering theatre productions as a co-curricular activity or as extra-curricular productions.
