We also had no flying. We had Scuttle jump on a trampoline behind his rock so it looked like he was flying. We had Ariel transform (quick change) as the eels circled her and pulled off her tail then she swam away as Ursula took center and did her laugh. We just did The Little Mermaid-we used bubble machines-but we hung them from our catwalks and had them float down into the audience-everyone loved it and it kept our stage clean. Our Captain Thespian informs students that do not stay throughout the run of the show and complete strike that they cannot receive thespian points and then he talks to them about what it means to be in an international honor society and the importance of follow-thru...it is a nice lesson and solves most ...

In my troupe, we have applications for interested potential board members. We then schedule interviews with each applicant to discuss which roles they could be suited for.
